This small but strong clinic benefited greatly from repainting by Cranbrook School students in 2013. It has no Medical Officer, but two nurse/midwives.

Malilita Clinic

Malilita was one of FUM's first clinics built in memory of John Gillett, joint founder of FUM in 1964. It is a fully functioning and vibrant clinic.

Mbooga Clinic

The clinic in this very remote village was built in 1999 and looked like new after refurbishment in 2013. Recent additions of the doctor's house and a rainwater harvesting system have made a big difference.

The longstanding problem of water supply in this remote village has now been solved with the opening of the new borehole and hand pump

Mwanhala Clinic & Dispensary

There are two members of staff here, a Medical Officer and a Nurse. The Medical Officer runs daily clinics dealing with mothers, children and babies. The nurse, Charles, is very enthusiastic and loved by the mums he cares for.

There is one Auxiliary Nurse and one Clinical Officer here, though the nurse is over 60 and retires soon. Hopefully she will be replaced.
